Dynamic Duo Strikes Again; Limestone Falls

GAFFNEY, S.C. -- Robbie Seabrook scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Donielle Davis scored 23 points to lead Anderson College to a 72-56 victory over Limestone in a CVAC men's game Saturday night at the Timken Center. The victory improves Anderson to 8-17 overall and 6-12 in the CVAC and gained the Trojans a measure of revenge against the Saints, who got their first victory of the season against Anderson at the Abney Center on Jan. 11. Limestone, 9-15 and 9-9, was led by Andre Dorsey with 15 points and Antonio Mays with 14. Anderson took 45 total shots, 30 from behind the arc. The Trojans made 13 3-point goals. Seabrook, who made a school record nine 3-point goals against St. Andrews Thursday night, made six treys for the Trojans. Limestone made just four 3-point goals. For the game, Anderson shot 49 percent from the field while limiting Limestone to 38 percent. Anderson led 37-21 at the half, but Limestone cut the Trojan lead to five -- 49-44 -- with 7:55 remaining. But the Saints could get no closer. Marko Zoric chipped in 10 points for the Trojans, who won their third straight. Anderson closes out the regular season with two home games -- Lees-McRae on Tuesday and Pfeiffer on Saturday.
