Trojan Grapplers Drop Decision at Shippensburg State
February 8, 2013SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Anderson wrestling team dropped a 42-6 decision on the road at Shippensburg State Friday night at Heiges Field House.
With the setback, Anderson slipped to 4-16 on the season, while Shippensburg State improved to 12-6.
Freshman Kevin Johnson pinned the Raiders’ John Lindquist 33 seconds into the second period of their 157-pound bout for the Trojans’ lone points on the contest.
Anderson will get back in action on Saturday, when the Trojans wrap up their two-match road swing through the Keystone State by visiting UP-Johnstown.
