No. 4 Michigan Tech Beats Trojans, 90-59

BROOKINGS, S.D. – All-American Matt Cameron scored 21 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead No. 4 Michigan Tech to a 90-59 victory over Anderson College in a non-conference men’s game Friday night at the Frost Arena at the University of South Dakota. Michigan Tech, 9-0 overall, shot 57 percent in the first half to jump out to a 48-35 lead at the half. Once again, poor shooting dogged the Trojans, 1-5 overall. AC shot just 31 percent for the game and a woeful 23 percent in the second half. AC attempted three more field goals than Michigan Tech – 68-65 – but Tech made 36 shots while AC made just 21. The Trojans made just eight of 34 field-goal attempts in the second half. Following Cameron for Tech were J.T. Luginski and Josh Buettner with 14 points apiece and Caleb Lamz with 10. Anderson was led by Donielle Davis with 22 points and six rebounds and Robbie Seabrook with 15 points and six rebounds. Michigan Tech dominated the boards, 48-31. Both teams made 12 3-point goals. Anderson will play either Fort Lewis or host South Dakota State Saturday at 7 p.m. Game Statistics Season Statistics
