
Trojan Wrestlers Fall at Limestone
January 19, 2013GAFFNEY, S.C. – Freshman Zak won his seventh consecutive match of the 2013 calendar year, but the Anderson University wrestling team fell, 37-10, to Limestone Saturday afternoon at the Timken Center.
Limestone improved to 6-4 on the season, while Anderson slipped to 3-10.
Hale got the Trojans on the scoreboard with a decisive 14-2 win past Limestone’s Ross Benzel at 133 pounds, earning his seventh straight win and freshman Kevin Johnson pinned Chris Didyoung at the 3:58 mark of their 157-pound bout.
Anderson is slated to get back in action on January 25-26, when the Trojans will compete in the East Region Duals, hosted by Newberry College.
