Anderson Grapplers Fall at East Region Duals
January 21, 2012JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Anderson University wrestling team suffered a a pair of setback, 45-0 to No. 8 Mercyhurst and a 49-3 decision to Kutztown at the 2012 Super Region I Duals, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania-Johnstown Saturday at the Sports Center.
After falling to the eighth-ranked Lakers Saturday morning, Trojan sophomore Nick Giuliette posted Anderson’s lone points of the day with a 1-0 decision past Kutztown’s Bionojel Candelaria in the 157-pound bout.
The Trojans get back on the mats Thursday, when AU plays host to Limestone College in a match scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Abney Athletic Center.
