Poor Shooting Hampers Trojans

CENTRAL, S.C. – The Anderson University men’s basketball JV team created turnovers, but was unable to capitalize, as the Trojans fell, 83-45, to Southern Wesleyan Monday afternoon.

The Trojan defense was stellar, but cold shooting from the field hurt the team’s chances in the setback.

Leading the Trojans offensively was junior Daniel Flores with 20 points. Also helping out were a trio of freshmen - Adam Brown added eight points, while Aaron Evans chipped in seven and Daniel Bowman notched six points.

The Trojans will take time off as they concentrate on final exams over the next two weeks, but are back in action, Monday,  Dec. 12 when the squad teams up with the varsity team to take on Johnson & Wales in a doubleheader at the Abney Athletic Center.

Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.

Box Score:
Daniel Flores- 20
Aaron Evans- 7
Daniel Bowman- 6
Austin Mills- 4
Adam Brown- 8
