Parsons Named CVAC Runner Of The Week
October 18, 2006THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Nathan Parsons of Anderson University has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) men's cross country Runner of the Week. Parsons finished first in the collegiate division and third overall in the South Collegiate Challenge in Marietta, Ga. The sophomore from Clifton Springs, N.Y., recorded a time of 26:58 in the 8K event at Chattahoochee Tech. Parsons led a sweep of the top five positions in the collegiate division race as Anderson recorded a perfect score of 15 in the four-team field. Anderson also won the overall 11-team event with 26 points.
