Trojan Women's Tennis Captures Third Place
April 18, 2010ANDERSON, S.C. -- The fourth-seeded Anderson women's tennis team closed out its' exceptional 2010 season by rolling past No. three seed Lees-McRae, 5-1, to claim third place at the Conference Carolinas' Championship Sunday afternoon at Sumter's Palmetto Tennis Center. The AU women’s team, which had never advanced beyond the first round of the Conference Carolinas’ tournament, blanked Pfeiffer 5-0, last Friday to move into the semifinals before suffering a 5-0 setback to top-seeded Queens.
