Trojans Clinch CVAC Title

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -- The Anderson University men's tennis team won its second straight CVAC regular-season title and its fifth in the last six years with a 6-3 victory over Mount Olive Saturday. Anderson, 14-6 overall and 9-0 in the CVAC, is now 83-5 all-time in conference play. The Trojans have lost just two conference matches in the last six years. The loss drops Mount Olive to 11-13, 6-3. Anderson won both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches 8-4 then swept the final four singles matches. Anderson's next action will be Friday in the CVAC Tournament at Sumter, S.C. Singles G.
