Magat, Sudhakar Named To All-CVAC First Team
April 21, 2005SUMTER, S.C. – Anderson College’s Philippe Magat and Sid Sudhakar both were named first-team All-CVAC at the league’s annual tennis banquet Thursday night. Magat, a sophomore from Paris, France, also was named the CVAC Player of the Year. Magat was 13-4 overall and 9-1 in the CVAC this spring at No. 1 singles. Sudhakar, a senior from Bangalore, India, was 16-1 overall and 10-0 in the CVAC this spring at No. 2 singles. In his four-year career at Anderson, Sudhakar lost just one singles match in CVAC play. Magat and Sudhakar teamed up in doubles for a record of 8-3 overall and 8-0 in the CVAC.
