Lady Trojans Hang On To Second Place

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Anderson University women's golf team shot 339 in the final round of the 2006 CVAC Tournament at the Hartsville Country Club Saturday afternoon to claim second place. Pfeiffer, which led wire to wire, won the title with a 54-hole total of 936. Anderson was second at 1,021, and Mount Olive was third at 1,025. Following Mount Olive were Belmont Abbey (1,031), Limestone (1,041), and Queens (N.C.) (1,042). Two Anderson players -- Carlie Eastman and Jenny Odle -- were named to the All-Tournament team. Anderson was led in the final round by Erin May with an 81. She was followed by Odle 83, Eastman 84, and Lindsay Vallo 91.
