Lady Trojans In 10th Place After First Round

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Anderson University women’s golf team is in 10th place after the first round of the 18-team McAmis Memorial Invitational at the Link Hills Country Club Monday. Because of heavy thunderstorms, the first round was delayed for 90 minutes. Three teams -- Wingate, Catawba, and host Tusculum -- failed to finish their first rounds. Anderson shot a 351 in the first round. Carlie Eastman led the Lady Trojans with an 86. Lindsay Vallo and Jenny Odle both shot 88, and Erin May shot 89. Belmont shot a 322 to take the overnight lead. Central Arkansas is second at 325, and Pfeiffer is third at 328. The second round will be played Tuesday morning.
