Anderson Drops A Spot In The Final Round

MONROE, N.C. -- The Anderson University women's golf team shot a 353 in the final round of the Lady Bulldog Invitational Tuesday to drop a spot in the final standings. Anderson completed the 36-hole event at the Stonebridge Golf Club with a total of 705 to finish sixth in the eight-team field. Pfeiffer won the team title with a total of 634 (317-317) to finish 28 shots in front of second-place Catawba. Tusculum was third at 666. Britany Beltran of Pfeiffer (75-75) and Paige Haverty of Catawba (73-77) finished in a tie for the individual title. Anderson's medalist was Jenny Odle, who finished in a tie for 16th at 173. Odle's 85 was Anderson's lowest score in the second round. Anderson's other scores in the second round were: Erin May 87, Carlie Eastman 90, and Lindsay Vallo 91.
