Anderson Women Finish Eighth At Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Anderson College women’s golf team improved by three shots in the second round but slipped to eighth place in the final round of the McAmis Memorial Tournament Monday at the Link Hills Golf Club. The Lady Trojans shot a 341 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 685. Longwood won the tournament with a 629 total. Lincoln Memorial was second at 659, and Wingate was third at 662. Anderson was led in the second round by Kathryn Adkins and Janie Wichert, who both shot 84. Darcie Davis shot an 86, and Brandi Jackson had an 87 for AC. Jackson was AC's medalist for the tournament.
