Jackson Finishes In Tie For Seventh At Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. Ė The Anderson College womenís golf team shot a 343 for the second straight day to finish seventh in the nine-team Catawba Lady Indian Invitational Monday at the Crescent Golf Club. AC finished the 36-hole tournament at 686. Wingate won the tournament at 652, while host Catawba and Tusculum finished in a tie for second at 659. The Lady Trojans were led by Brandi Jackson, who shot a 78 to finish in a tie for seventh in the individual standings in the 48-player field at 159. Kristen Kyle of Catawba (79-75) won the tournament in a playoff against Rachel McFarland of Tusculum. ACís other finishing scores were: Kathryn Adkins (82-82), Darcie Davis (90-92), Whitney Stokes (92-91), and Janie Wichert (90-93).
