Trojans In Third Place After First Round
October 20, 2002CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Anderson College men's golf team is in third place after the first round of the Top-Flite/Raffertys Tournament Sunday at the Regent Park Golf Club. AC shot a 308 and trails tournament leader Tusculum by eight shots. Kyle Owings, who had an eagle on the par-4 14th hole, and Denton Moore led AC with a pair of 75s. Owings and Moore are tied for fourth in the individual standings. AC's other scores were: Reed Brown 77, John Hines 81, and Andrew Corley 82. Hines' 9-over round included 14 pars. The final round will be played Tuesday.
